Subject: Appleseed Shoot at your club
I just wanted to thank you for opening up your club for this past weekends Appleseed event.
I have been shooting for over 35 years and I will never shoot the same; I will always shoot better! I have hunted and shot all my life, so I know this program will benefit many that hunt or shoot, and even those that have never shot. I brought a future Marine who was new to a rifle - on his 1st time shooting he hit the target maybe 6 times out of 40. After day two his group size was down to 4".
This program is an amazing opportunity for anyone and everyone to learn marksmanship skills at an extremely low or no cost - women, kids, military and law enforcement shoot for free. I strongly recommend any and all of your members, neighbors, wives, etc to sign up and shoot this event.
Because of this project and gun clubs like yours opening your ranges, American's continue to learn the heritage of marksmanship and the history and importance of what our founders had to sacrifice and do start this great country.
In all there were 2 woman shooters (one who was a new shooter), one woman instructor, and 4 kids amoung the men shooters! Anything to promote shooting sports and get women and kids involved is fantastic and I thank the Appleseed Project and YOUR gun club for allowing the traditions to continue.
Thank you and God bless.
